Still waiting for her umbilical cord to fall off, we gave Addy a sponge bath to cut the stinky. The kiddo is definitely a true member of our Family. Also, babies have layers of skin that peel as they first come out of the womb. The skin is to help protect them from being submerged in liquid for so long. But it can be gross when it peels all over the place. Especially when the kiddo spends most days trying to eat her hands.
Hence, the bath.
Just like at the hospital, Addy took it without complaint. She let us do our thing, and seemed to enjoy the sensation of the warm water.
So much pink in this house for this girl ...
